THE GOAL

PROBLEM Mitchell was not getting the network support that is essential for an emerging star to grow his fan following. 

HOW WE DID IT:

INFLUENCER TARGETING  * SOCIAL MEDIA RESEARCH * VIDEO EDITING FOR ENGAGEMENT

The Fansite Admin. and I collected fan questions into a gDoc.  I then researched each fan and added a personal detail that Mitchell could include in the videos responses. Mitchell then CHOSE the questions he wanted to answer.

  • While his team shot the videos, I edited them for composition and to emphasize 'sound bites'. then ensured that clips were posted on his social media and a Facebook Event Page.  Weekly, we held a ‘Best Answer’ poll to encourage that all fans had an opportunity to participate.
  • As his popularity rose so did a host of fans that attempted to exploit Mitchell’s humble and friendly nature. With detailed research, I made recommendations to get demanding fans under control and we did.

  • The campaign was interspersed with FAN gifts that showcased his many talents… songs, tongue twister challenges and a photo shoot with an exclusive film prop from the MOVIE ‘Horns’ that was re cut into fan art.

CAMPAIGN CHALLENGES

  • When the Kummen’s came to me they were still new to Social Media, esp.Twitter and had many common questions about using Social Media to benefit a career as a public figure.

  • The timing of the Fan videos required a high level of coordination between 3 groups in 3 cities.

RESULTS:

AMAZING! With no previous subscribers, a single video earned over 370 views!

The success of the program was largely due to Mitchell’s charisma and ability to connect with his fans on camera.
